Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of smarttrophyengraving.co.nz and any orders, enquiries, or services you request from Mobile Smart Ltd (trading as Mobile Smart – Phone Repair, Key Cutting & Trophy Engraving) in Papakura, Auckland, New Zealand. By using our website, placing an order, creating an account, submitting an enquiry, or supplying artwork or text for customisation, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Our website content is provided for general information and shopping/enquiry purposes. While we take care to keep information accurate and up to date, product images, descriptions, and availability may change, and some items may vary slightly in colour, finish, or detail due to manufacturing differences and screen display settings.

When you place an order through our website, it is treated as a request to purchase rather than an immediate completed sale. You do not need to pay at checkout. After we receive your order, we will confirm stock availability and the final price and send an order confirmation, usually within 24–48 hours. Work generally begins once the order is confirmed and full payment is received.

If you need an item by a specific date, you should tell us as early as possible, including by entering your required-by date if that option is available at checkout or by emailing us. Typical completion time for many orders is around 1–2 weeks, but timing can vary depending on product availability, order size, customisation requirements, and peak periods such as school and sports prizegiving seasons. Urgent or same-week jobs may be possible in some cases, and any rush fee or additional charges will be discussed with you before we proceed.

Product availability depends on supplier stock and what we have on hand. If an item is unavailable or out of stock, we will contact you to discuss suitable alternatives. If deadlines matter, switching to an in-stock product may be the quickest option.

Prices shown on the website are displayed including GST. Pricing may change without notice, but we will confirm the final price with you as part of the order confirmation process before requesting payment. Quantity-based discounts may apply when quantities qualify, particularly for multiple units of the same item, and these may be reflected in the cart or confirmed during order confirmation depending on how the order is placed and processed.

For customised products and services, you may supply engraving or printing text, dates, names, and artwork files such as logos or images. You are responsible for ensuring that the content you provide is accurate and that you have the right to use any artwork you supply. By providing artwork or files, you give us permission to use them solely to prepare proofs and produce your order. If you request custom layouts or logo work, we may provide a digital proof for approval before production. You should carefully review the proof, including spelling, names, and dates, because the approved proof is used to produce the final item.

Where proofs are provided, you may request up to two additional change rounds at no extra charge as long as production has not started. If you request changes after approving a proof, changes may still be possible depending on the production stage, and additional charges may apply. If you notice an issue after approval, you should contact us immediately so we can advise what can be done.

If you ask us to engrave or print on an item you supply (rather than an item purchased from us), we may need to inspect the item in-store to confirm suitability, including material type and available engraving area. If you cannot visit, you may send clear photos for assessment, and we will advise what is possible based on the information provided.

If you create an online account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Guest checkout is available, and creating an account is optional.
